Namek is a planet where the Namekian race lives.
Overview[]
This is a big, bluish green planet. Namek was destroyed after Goku was able to defeat Freeza. Most of Namek’s habitants died at the hands of Vegeta and Freeza, the pair of them searching for the Namekian Dragon Balls so they could wish for immortality. Dende summoned Porunga and was able to create New Namek and brought the Namekians to the newly formed planet.

- There is a fake version of this planet called Fake Namek, which has German ''Namekians'' who almost tricked Krillin, Bulma, and Gohan into finding Dragon Balls for them.
