The Wombat at first is seen to be the co-host of the popular radio station in Nicky Town, one of the many cities Cell feasts upon during his rampage to find the androids. He is voiced by Chris Zito. The Wombat appears to be the more fun and "happy-go-lucky" personality compared to his partner TJ but its clear their different personalities fit their show. Cell is shown calling the hosts to play "Video Killed the Radio Star" to which The Wombat agrees before Cell barges in and absorbs him first.
A future version of the Wombat appears in Trunks's post-apocalyptic future as a radio host. This time around, the Future Versions of 17 and 18 appear to have killed TJ. The Wombat survived to become a solo act, but was killed by the Cyborgs shortly after Future Trunks arrived back in his own time. His farewell speech contained enough information about where he was that Trunks was able to find the Cyborgs shortly after the Wombat died and kill them in turn.
